Goshen Township, Ohio

 

 Bob began his journey to becoming a law enforcement officer while still a teenager as one of Miami Township Police Departments first Police Explorers. Upon graduation from Milford High School and coming of age to serve as a police officer, he attended the Police Academy at Hocking College and was hired to his first police officer position with the Williamsburg Police Department in March of 1997. From there he went back to his roots as a Miami Township Police Officer where he held several positions including; field training officer, relief supervisor, traffic safety officer, and police canine handler. In 2004, he accepted a position as the Chief of Police for the Village of Blanchester. In 2006 he left Blanchester to attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy where he became a State Trooper. In 2010 he achieved his career goal when he was hired to serve as the assistant chief for the Goshen Township Police Department. Bob has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. He has completed numerous advanced training courses in subjects including police supervision, police instructor, traffic crash investigations, and criminal investigations. He married his high school sweetheart and the two have a son.
