Goshen Township Welcomes New Police Offcier

Joe Mullins was sworn into office at the April 22nd regular trustees meeting.  He comes to Goshen Township more than 20 years of law enforcement experience. Mullins went through the Police Academy in 1982.

While working his first job he attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton earning degrees in Law Enforcement, Law Enforcement with Industrial/ Retail Security Option, and Community Based Corrections.

During his 26 years on the force, Mullins has undergone extensive police training including accident reconstruction, SWAT school, auto theft, field training officer, and drug interdiction. He has also received many honors, commendations, and awards, many of them for DUI enforcement.

Before joining law enforcement Mullins served 3 years in the United States Army. He currently works as a realtor, mortgage loan officer, and insurance agent.
