Man Says He Was Drunk When He Sexually Assaulted a 7 Year Old Girl

27 year old Ryan Carfrey was arrested on July 14th at the Meijer store in Miami Township. He called police to turn himself in. Carfrey had been the chief suspect in the rape of a 7 year old girl at a Milford home on June 11th.

The girl says she fell asleep in her baby sitter's bed and when she woke up her panties had been removed. The babysitter says she was out for a walk at the time.

Police say Carfrey admitted to the rape claiming he was drunk at the time.

He has been arrested and charged with 1 count of rape.
